The San Giuseppe beach resort is situated in the centre of San Bartolomeo al Mare and belongs to the Villa San Giuseppe Hotel. It is open to everyone, not just the hotel guests.
A direct path, available to the guests of Villa San Giuseppe, leads to 1500 sq. m of fine shingle beach. Equipped with sun umbrellas and sun loungers carefully spaced out to ensure the comfort and privacy necessary for guests and visitors to enjoy their holiday, the beach represents a strong point for our hotel.
The breakwaters just off the beach protect the beach resort from rough seas and allow swimming even at times of slightly choppy water. The beach is open from 01/06 to 15/09 each year.
The beach is not included in the price of the room.

Beach front
Between spring and autumn, the beach front area of 2000 sqm consists of an area of sun umbrellas and sun loungers, a bar, a terrace with sea view, changing cabins, showers, toilets, boules court (open only in good weather).
The Kiosk
For those who wish to enjoy the sea and the panorama of the Gulf of Diano, the Kiosk offers a delicious breakfast in the beach front area.
The kiosk is surrounded by tables and seating areas with sun umbrellas where it is possible to enjoy delicious hot and cold meals, drinks, ice creams or an excellent aperitivo, one of Italy’s cultural traditions.
The San Giuseppe beach resort kiosk is open from the 01/06 until 15/09 each year.
Play area
In the beach front area, a large children’s playground guarantees the children loads of fun in a safe environment.
Activities
The boules court in the beach front area is available for a relaxing game amongst friends. During the summer season, Villa San Giuseppe Hotel offers courses of water aerobics. Otherwise, you can choose between courses of yoga or muscular re-awakening, organized by San Bartolomeo Council, just a short distance from our beach.
